This handsome set of Sabatier "Loire" carving tools are solid and well-balanced. This carving set includes a 10 Inch sharpening steel and 8-inch fork. These pieces are fully forged from a single piece of metal and have bolsters and full tangs which lend a heavy feel and provide excellent balance and control. Tangs are visible as they run through the center of the handles, which are held in place by three stainless-steel rivets in a traditional design. The lustrous pakka wood handles are moisture resistant.
